Your AI chat and files

You copy one prompt, paste it into your own AI chat and follow the steps there. How your chat and files are handled depends on the assistant you use, its settings and its provider’s privacy rules.

Keep your personal working brief and continuation files with your own work. Do not send them to SetupKit.

Feedback

Use Feedback to ask a question, suggest an improvement or say thank you. Choose a message type and write your message. Name and email are optional.

We use your message to answer your question, consider your suggestion or understand what helped. Messages and contact details are private; names are not published without separate permission. If you leave an email address, it is only for handling your message. A reply is not guaranteed.

Messages and optional contact details are stored in our Neon database in Frankfurt. Our storage limit is 180 days after submission. Scheduled cleanup starts after 179 days and runs every 15 minutes, leaving a margin for cleanup and recovery history. Deleted records may remain temporarily in recovery copies; prolonged service outages can delay cleanup. We cannot guarantee immediate physical erasure of every provider copy.

We also send the full message and any contact details you provide to the project owner's private mailbox through Forward Email to handle your message. These email copies remain until the owner deletes them; the database's 180-day limit does not apply to them.

Leave out passwords, API keys, private AI conversations and working files.

Spam protection

Cloudflare Turnstile checks Feedback submissions to help prevent abuse. Your browser contacts Cloudflare for this check, which handles technical request information under its own privacy rules. JavaScript is required to submit Feedback.

To limit repeated attempts, Neon stores a pseudonymous visitor code, attempt counts and times. These counters do not contain your original IP address, message, name or email. The counter retention limit is 24 hours, with scheduled cleanup and a margin for recovery history. A pseudonymous code is not fully anonymous. Provider copies and service outages can affect deletion timing as described above.

Copying the prompt or a link

Copy buttons write the prompt or public SetupKit link to your clipboard only when you click. The site does not read your clipboard.

You can also select and copy the complete guide yourself.

Sharing SetupKit

A sharing link opens the service you choose with the public SetupKit link and, where supported, a short description. That service receives the request from your browser and applies its own privacy rules. You decide whether to publish or send the message.

Supporting the project

The Ko-fi form loads only when you choose Support. Ko-fi handles the form and payment process under its own data rules. SetupKit does not collect your payment details.

Analytics and website requests

Google Analytics is optional. It loads only after you choose Allow. Choose Reject to keep it off, or change your choice using Analytics settings. Rejecting after Allow stops collection and reloads the page. It cannot recall data already sent.

With your permission, Google measures visits to public pages and actions such as copying the start prompt, opening the guide, sharing or choosing Support. Analytics cookies help Google recognize visits. Your preference and these cookies expire after 60 days without extending on each visit. User and event data retention is set to 2 months; standard aggregate reports are separate.

SetupKit does not send your AI interview, prompt text, clipboard contents, feedback, name or email to Analytics. Review pages, Feedback and local previews are excluded. Advertising features and detailed location/device collection are off. Google still receives technical request and visit information under its own privacy rules.

Your browser makes requests to load pages, images and fonts. The service hosting the website receives technical request information, such as your IP address and browser headers. If you open Ko-fi or a sharing service, your browser also makes a request to that service.
